In Celebration of Earth Day, All Wheel Drive Auto as a AAA approved repair facility will be offering local Subaru owners that have a used “Lead Acid” Automotive type battery laying around the ability to drop if off at our Repair shop and we will handle proper disposal/recycle of the Battery for you. We will be offering this from April 18 to the 22nd during normal business hours only.
We will track the number of battery’s coming in and for every battery brought to a AAA approved repair shop AAA will plant a tree along I90.
Drivers should wear eye protection and gloves when handling batteries. It is also a good Idea to put the battery in some sort of a plastic tub to avoid the bottom of the battery coming in contact with anything you don’t want eaten away.
