Suabru Head Gasket Repair
The new gasket on a prepped block, we will still coat the gasket with copper but I wanted to show the raised portion of the outer shim, this area is enlarged over the O.E. gasket and even Subaru’s replacement gasket. The bigger the raised portion the better the seal

I am replacing the head gasket on my car 97 Subaru outback. You are using a Subaru gasket? Is Copper coating necessary ? Do you use it on both sides? This gasket is a subaru part?
